la Maison de Saint Claire is a unique home, set in 12 acres of total privacy, surrounded by
subtropical rainforest with spectacular view over the valley, Border
Ranges and the World Heritage-listed Numinbah Nature Reserve.
This property is interesting in its architectural concept and design.
The centre is a large open-plan octagonal living area with vaulted
ceiling, chef’s kitchen, fireplace, bar, dining and lounge area.
The la Maison de St Claire's entrance opens into a picturesque subtropical
courtyard. Flanking each side of the main area are two railway passenger
carriages, superbly renovated to accommodate our guests. Guests
at la Maison de St Claire may choose from Fleur de Lys (deluxe) or
Fleur Violette room. Both rooms have ensuites.
Set atop a hill, la Maison de St Claire has a commanding view over the valley, the Border Ranges and glimpses of Mount Warning behind the majestic gum trees.
Enjoy your French breakfast of hot croissants and baguette with home-made conserves, freshly brewed coffee/tea and freshly cut organic fruit and juice. Take in the beautiful view of the valley in the mist while enjoying your breakfast on the deck, bathe in the morning sun, or in the evenings, enjoy the clarity of the vast expanse of our galaxy, dotted by myriads of stars ... and make a wish when you spot a shooting star, as you enjoy a candlelit dinner on the verandah.
Delicious evening meals of French, Malay or Australian flavours are available by prior arrangement .... whatever you desire! Halal food and gluten-free breads are served upon request.
la Maison de St Claire guests enjoy the northern New South Wales climate with excellent indoor-outdoor living areas, including courtyard, decking, covered outdoor spaces and BBQ facilities. Closely located to ALL the local attractions, World Heritage- listed National Parks and our beautiful sandy beaches, there is aplenty to do for our guests.
